We provide free monthly medicines to patients who cannot afford expensive treatments, especially for chronic illnesses. We realize that the mounting expenses in healthcare can be mentally and financially taxing on the lower socio-economic strata. We have come across numerous cases in which the low-income families terminate their treatments due to expensive healthcare facilities and medication. Our goal is to continue improving the health and lives of the underserved who face social and financial challenges. And in a bid to improve their living conditions, we introduced a “monthly medicine” scheme.
Under this scheme, we provide monthly medicine assistance to registered and verified patients who cannot afford quality medical care. Our organization helps people who struggle with high medical expenses by allotting the medications they need on monthly basis. Further, we support poor needy people through free monthly medicine, yearly free vaccines (influenza) investigations, X-Rays & complete blood investigations. We have, till date, undertaken the monthly medicinal expenses of nearly _________ verified destitute patients.

In 2014 floods, I saw there exemplary social work first hand. where ever I went along with few friends of mine, Athrout volunteers were already lending a helping hand. I don’t know them personally at all, bt I am sure they are doing a wonderful work. let’s all strengthen their hands by contributing.
