Welcome to Athrout – more than a foundation, it is a movement inspired by the profound teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, a beacon of hope and compassion in a world yearning for kindness and solidarity.

Our Inspiration and Mission:
Athrout is not just an organization but a testament to the duty of giving back to society. Guided by the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, our mission is deeply rooted in the belief that true faith is manifested through the service and well-being of our fellow beings. As the Prophet emphasized, “He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry.” This compels us to dedicate our efforts to ensure no individual in our community is left behind, facing hunger or despair alone.

Our Ethos:
At the core of Athrout lies the principle that genuine love and faith require us to desire for our brothers and sisters what we desire for ourselves. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ stated, “None of you will believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself.” This powerful message propels us to create a world where empathy and selflessness form the foundation of our society.

Serving the Needy:
Our commitment extends to serving the needy, widows, and orphans, aligning with the noblest acts of faith. The Prophet ﷺ likened the one who cares for such individuals to “a warrior fighting for Allah’s Cause or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all night.” Through our work, we aspire to embody these esteemed virtues, dedicating our efforts to the service of humanity.

Building a Team and Community:
On the journey of establishing Athrout, I had the privilege of meeting individuals who shared my vision for an ideal society and a desire to bring about real positive change. Alhamdullilah, I am grateful that these like-minded individuals are now part of our team, treating Athrout as their own.
